Just another post :)

So I decided to write another post, because i'm bored and there is nothing else to do :)
So i don't have anything much to update about, i've kinda been slacking on practicing my italian because i have been so busy these past two weeks :S but, i'm gonna get on it, from now on i will spend a bit of time everyday, so that i will be able to finish the program before i leave...in 41 DAYS!!!!! ahhh its coming so quickly and i still have lots to do, such as learn italian!!!! get my visa!!! refill my bank account, get my laptop, figure out my phone issues, and hang out with all my friends, of and plan my going away party :S it may not seam like much, but trust me...it is
hmmm well I got an e-mail from afs in montreal saying they express mailed me my host family's application!! that was 3 days ago, but i still haven't checked the mail, so i think i'll do that when i'm done this post :)
I've been talking to my host sister through e-mails, but yesterday we finally got to talk on facebook chat!! its so much better being able to talk in real time :D i'm soooo unbelievably excited for this, i can't wait!!!!! I also know that i'm going to be going to the same school as my host sister, and i think i'm going to be in her class!! but i will be exempt from latin and greek haha thank god, im going to have a hard enough time learning italian, these no need to add another 2 languages :P Oh and in other good news THERE IS A GYM IN CASTROVILLARI!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D and me and my host sister have planned to go every friday!!!! YAY!!
yup so thats pretty much all i have to say right now, other than that the past three weeks have been super awesome, i don't think i was bored for more than like 5 mins at the most, and i'm just now realzing how much im going to miss my friends :(

I HAVE A HOST FAMILY!!! ...and i leave in 56 days :D

SO, as you can see by reading the title, I HAVE  A HOST FAMILY!!!!!!!!!!
I am beyond excited, that i finally got the host family info!
I am going to be living in southern Italy in the "Small" town of Castrovillari, Cosenza with a population of 22,603 haha. The town offers many sports such as dance, tennis, athletics, swimming, volleyball, football, basketball, and there are 3 gyms!
My host family consists of:
My host dad Giovanni, who is a doctor and director of cardiology at the hospital
My host mom who is also a doctor and is director of the hospital
My oldest host brother Francesco, is 22 and is studying to become a dentist
My other host brother Antonio, is 21 and studying medicine
My host sister Elena, is 17 and does dance
They all seem so awesome! None of them smoke, thank god, and they can speak english
They have no pets, so i don't have to worry about allergies :)
I am going to be sharing a room, i'm guessing with Elena (they didn't write who in the application) and my 2 host brothers will be away most of the time that i am there, because they are away at school.
I am very excited that my host family has a pool!! (I've always wanted a pool :D)
My family is very close, they have dinner together every day and have lunch with the grandparents every sunday.
I am soooooooo excited to leave for Italy, i can't believe i leave in 56 days...thats less than 2 months!!! EEEEEEEEEEEEEH
So yeah thats all i have to say, wait no not true, this past weekend i went down to toronto for my pre-departure orientation, and had lots of fun. The volunteers were hilarious and we learnt allot. We also had some really good pizza...yummmm :)

70 DAYS :D OMG !!

This is sooo crazy, i leave in 70 days!! SEVENTY DAYS!!!!!!! I think its finally starting to hit me that i'm not going to be here next year, like i have 2 months left with my family and friends before i have to leave them for 10 months :O . There is so much stuff i want to do this summer before i leave and i don't think i'm going to find the time to to it all :(
But off the topic of worrying and stressing out over the future i might as wel update on what i've been up to in these past couple of weeks.
So #1, is that im DONE grade 10! wwhoooooooooooooooooooooh
I've been out of school for the past week, and have spent most of my time working on fundraising, i'm almost done which is good, because i have to have it all in by the 9th, (friday) then i will finally be able to relax, because for at least a month i will have nothing to worry about, no school, which means no homework, no more fundraising, no more getting up early! haha
#2, well umm thats about all thats happened haha i had my exams and they all wet pretty well (i think so anyways :P), and i've been working on learning somemore italian thats going pretty go as well i can speak in sentences now!
#3 i still dont have a host family :( but i'm still not to worried, because i know i'm not the only one without one, and AFS canada emailed me saying i would have one before the end of this month (July)!  
#4 well yesterday was Canada Day! Happy belated B-day Canada! and i spent the day at camp with my friends it was actually pretty awesome, even getting rained on by fireworks :)
And last but certainly not least, I finally get to go to orientation camp! So on friday, me and my mom are driving down to Toronto so i can go to th camp, which is on saturday! from what i've heard it isnt all that exciting, but o well, i'm excited anyways! then on sunday i'm going shopping alllll daaay! this is also very exciting. And to finish off the weekend, were driving back up north to Sault Saint Marie to go see ELTON JOHN in concert...with HIS WHOLE BAND!!!!! EEEH i'm pretty pumped! haha
